My title is not based on the poem, it is how I see the bridge. Like a diamond it is unbreakable, like a diamond it has an intricately laticed structure, like a diamond it is precious – particularly to people of the area. It just reflects my feeling about the bridge.

For what reason are you changing it to Diamond?

If the photos are just being used online a link back to the post and a credit to Helen Cox would be just fine – let me know when they’re up and I’ll share your page.

Many thanks, Hx

Thank you for sharing such in depth and quality content. The images we were wondering if we may have permission to feature them on http://www.rivertees.co.uk, of course with credit back to the author and a link to this post?

Let us know, great post!

I still have a memory of it in my head, though I must have been only about 4 or 5 years old. It’s a constant on the skyline of the town, the one thing your eyes are drawn to before anything else that tells you that you’re home.
