What is the best essay writing service?
Disclaimer: I’m aware this thread might unleash hell, but I’m really struggling with writing essays and research papers lately. Please, no moralizing… I know I’m supposed to write my own papers. I’m working part-time and have zero energy left for writing after getting home from work, so I could really use some help. Has anyone used reliable essay writing services they’d actually vouch for? I’m looking for something affordable (not some cheap ChatGPT nonsense). If you can recommend a trusted website, I’d be super grateful. Mods, feel free to delete this if it breaks the rules, but I’m desperate. Thanks!

I used Paper Help last semester when I was interning and taking 18 credits. It’s pricier than some services ($12+ per page), but its writers are knowledgeable, they actually follow instructions and don’t use AI. I submitted a 10-page policy analysis and got a B+, which was fair since I provided minimal notes to the writer. You can use their live chat to haggle a bit, btw. I mentioned I was a returning customer and got 10% off. Still, don’t rely on them for super niche social work topics, and I recommend double-checking the citations.
Speedy Paper seems like a pretty decent service as well. It’s slightly cheaper and quality is pretty much the same, so these two sites have been reliable in my experience.
Hope this helps!
I can vouch for PaperHelp. It’s the only legit essay writing service I tried, and I tried at least five different ones. The essay writers are knowledgeable, and it’s the only site I can rely on for high-quality work.
Good call on PaperHelp and Speedy — I’ve tried both too. For me, though, EssayMarket ended up being the most consistent option. The writers followed my outline closely, deadlines were never an issue, and the prices didn’t feel like highway robbery.
If anyone’s curious, there’s a LinkedIn breakdown of EssayMarket that covers how it works in practice. Might be useful if you’re comparing different services side by side.
PaperHelp is the best in my opinion. It’s fully anonymous and one of the most popular essay services out there. The essays and research papers I bought from this site always pass plagiarism and AI checks, and nobody has ever suspected me of using it.
Just a word of caution: AVOID CHATGPT. I got busted last year after a few months of submitting papers that I wrote using AI. I almost got expelled because two of my papers were suddenly flagged for AI use. The weird thing is none of my essays submitted before that were flagged, even though I used AI and the same prompts for those too. My professor caught eight other students along with me the same week.
I’m not sure what tool he used to detect the AI, but I’m guessing it was ZeroGPT. I ran my papers through it, and it showed about 80% similarity, even though initially no similarities were detected (I obviously checked that before submission). It seems like they updated their AI check algorithm or something, so now I’m really scared of using tools like ChatGPT again because it can backfire. I have been using PaperHelp since then and have already purchased four papers. They all passed without issues, because as I was told they use human writers.
I guess any legitimate essay writing service with good reviews will do if you’re looking for alternatives, just don’t go cheap if you want a good paper. Many writing companies or individual essay writers use AI these days to speed up the writing process in one way or another.
This is not necessarily helpful as an immediate/short solution. My experience and advice I have gotten from mentors and teachers is that reading lots and writing practice are some of the most helpful things to improve your writing. Even reading chill non fiction books (like I’ve been reading youth fantasy while doing my MSW, Harry Potter and Narnia lol) help with vocabulary and sentence structure and stuff.
For writing practice I have always been told that writing is like a muscle and you have to work it for it to be strong- I got substack and have been writing short things on it, sometimes I write mini essay notes or poems to myself just on my phone notes app. I did those things throughout high school and my BSW and now MSW and I think that they make writing papers a bit easier!
That, and I always write out an outline based on the assignment instructions to follow as I write to keep myself on track. I often write questions as sort of guiding points for myself for different sections and edit them out later just to help keep me on topic and it makes it feel easier to write a section at a time. Another piece of advice I received from a mentor who is a career academic was that you can only write for 3-4 hrs per day effectively so don’t try to do more than that because it’s futile.
I always ask people to proofread and give me feedback and edits, my sister often does it or my bf and she works in a totally different field (hospitality) so is helpful as a kind of “outside” perspective. Does your university have a writing centre? You might be able to get help with some strategies to make it feel more manageable! I work while in school too and I can sympathize, it’s a lot!!
Chat gpt!!!! if you use it correctly it will help you. don’t let it write ur paper for you! but it can help you get to the write direction. I just got accepted into a msw program and I used chat gpt to help me in the write direction. My professor I asked for a reference is the one who told me, if we use it as a tool to help, and not copy and paste what it wrote you, it can be a great help!
Ok so I once hired someone on Fiverr. WITH THAT SAID, my intent was never to submit it, and I didn’t. I rewrote the entire thing and didn’t use so much as a single sentence. The essay was hot garbage, but it helped me organize my thoughts and gave me some additional perspectives to consider. So it was exactly what I needed.
I wouldn’t recommend actually submitting something you paid for, but using it as a resource like I did can definitely be helpful. I wouldn’t trust a stranger to have not plagiarized and I wouldn’t risk my education/future by actually submitting something someone else wrote.
You can also use AI for this purpose.
