Editing a film magazine for the last two and a half years and teaching creative writing for the last five years has provided me with all the necessary skills to ensure that copy reads in an engaging and, if required, effervescent fashion.
Every writer has ticks that need ironing out of their work. Facts need checking; syntax needs to flow; semi-colons need to be used correctly.
Some people ask me to edit their novels and scripts, others to proof and edit their latest blog post or short story. I am happy to work on scripts long and short and, unlike many other freelance editors, proof each piece three times to ensure accuracy.
