Postcards from TS1
Today I went on a psychogeographical wander around Middlesbrough for a chapter in a book I’m working on. I’m not ready to release details yet but towards the end of the year all will be revealed. In this post are several photographs I took on my travels, the relevance of swan-shaped pedalos will not be lost on Iain Sinclair fans – if you haven’t already watched Swandown, I recommend it.
Great images- I’m intrigued!
By the images or by the book? Or both?! Thanks for looking at my blog.
I haven’t seen some of those and I live there!
Hah. Which ones? I can tell you where they are!
The clock, the Boro scarf and the gravstone
The Clock is Albert Park, Linthorpe Road entrance. The Boro scarf is at the corner of Crescent Road and Harford Street and the gravestone can be seen by walking past Linthorpe Cemetery.
Thanks Helen, I thought the gravestone might be in Linthorpe Cemetery. I can’t remember the last time I was in Albert Park, I’ll have to go and have a look at it, and the Boro scarf. It’s true what they say, people who live closest stop noticing things.
