North Riding Infirmary Entrance, Middlesbrough
Yesterday whilst strolling through Middlesbrough I passed the entrance to the North Riding Infirmary. I read about it here in the Middlesbrough Gazette. The original infirmary stood for 100 years, 1906 – 2006, and then was knocked down and replaced by an Aldi…make of that what you will. All that remains now is this rather ornate doorway.
